Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Skin tone: Very fair with neutral undertones and dark brown eyes, grey hair.

Favorite look: I actually liked a smoky eye look I did with the Pat McGrath Eye-Dols in Divine Mink. I was just playing with the shadow and ended up combining it with a neutral brown from the Pony Glam palette. I used the Pony in the crease and then blended it out with the lightest shade in the Pony palette. I wish that palette had names as it would be easier to reference but anyway, after that I applied the Pat McGrath shadow with my finger as I wasn’t sure about using a brush. The shadows set pretty quickly so I had to work to blend them up into the crease and learned to do one eye completely before moving to the other eye. Once they set, they aren’t budging. I did find that I could layer and used a synthetic shader brush to apply additional shadow and they worked great with a brush as well. I used the Chantecaille blush from the Save The Coral release and it is a lightly shimmery coral shade. Really pretty. For my lips I did something that I almost never do since my lips are so pigmented but I really wanted to try to achieve a somewhat nude look so I used Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pink Venus over my entire lip and then used Pat McGrath Gloss in Petal Pink over that and it was great until I ate a meal and then it was wearing off and my natural lip colour was coming through. I did really like the effect initially.

Most used product: Chantecaille blush in Coral. The actual name is “Laughter” but it is part of the Philanthropy line and was in their Save the Coral campaign. Such a soft shade of Coral, which isn’t a shade that I wear a lot but this is changing my mind.

New beauty discoveries: I am not sure it is a discovery but I was watching Lisa Eldridge’s video on her watercolour blush technique and found it intriguing. I am going to give it a try. The woman is a makeup goddess as far as I am concerned and she can make the simplest pairings look like they were slaved over for hours. She does more classical types of looks but her techniques are so effective. I think this technique is so lovely for spring.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: my basics of concealer, Dior blush, etc. and from the ABH Mario palette, I used 5th Ave. on my lid and Claudia (a deep blue-tinged grey) as a smoked out looking liner and in the outer V and smudged under my lower lashes for that smoky effect as well. Marc Jacobs Submarine skinny liner on my upper waterline and my new Sephora Lip Lacquer lipstick (I can never remember the name of the colour) on my lips
Your most used product this week: UD Casterly Rock eyeshadow, Sephora Cappuccino pencil liner, Embryolisse Flower Essence Toner
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): old (and discontinued now) Sephora Tango Nights pencil liner. It is such an enchanting shade/finish.

Favorite look from the week: Wednesday I took a look from Kevyn Aucoin’s book Face Forward and changed the colors and the lipstick formula-I used my usual base products (Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Ivory concealer, Fenty Amber Match Stick, Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 foundation), Tarte Amazonian Clay Paaarty blush, Too Faced Ice Queen eyeshadow on lid and browbone, UD Chaos in crease, CoverGirlxKaty Perry Katy Kat Eye Perry Blue mascara, and Revlon Ultra HD Matte Intensity liquid lipstick
Your most used product this week: My usual base products, plus UDxGoT Longclaw and Needle brushes.

Your skin tone/coloring: Next to name, above.

Favorite look from the week: I haven’t had a favorite look in a long time — I’ve reduced my “looks” to natural, skin-like, single-color eyeshadow (same color every time), highlighter, light blush, lip balm … for months now. The only thing that changes from day to day is which highlighter and which blush (I choose between 3).

Your most used product this week: Not counting base products or the same single-color eyeshadow I’ve been wearing for months, a new highlighter (new for me) from Melt — Ghostlight. This is primarily because I’m out of state right now, I chose one of everything to take with me, and that was the highlighter I chose.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I’ve been doing this for a while now, but I don’t think I’ve mentioned it — I’m using a Revolution Makeup setting spray with hyaluronic acid, and it makes my foundation look super smooth and skin-like. In all my years, I’ve never worn foundation and powder with such success. It’s possible any decent “moisturizing” setting spray would do this, but this is the first one I’ve tried.

Your skin tone/coloring: Above, with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Favorite look from the week: I did a neutral/warm halo eye using the ND Safari and Cranberry palettes, and a sparkling pink look using the same palettes. They work SO well together and the shade Daisy from the Cranberry palette is just dazzlingly gorgeous!

Your most used product this week: The DermaE Radiant Glow oil and Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation… a match made in heaven. I really like the foundation to begin with, but it looks a million times better on me with the oil used as a part of my skincare/priming routine. Also, the Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Lipgloss is one of my favorite formulas, and the color Rosewood in particular is gorgeous. Milani is doing it right and still keeping an affordable price.

Any beauty discoveries… All of the above.
