bareMinerals Joy Endless Glow Highlighter Review & Swatches
Joy
bareMinerals Joy Endless Glow Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy-orange with warm undertones and a moderate sheen. It had opaque color coverage but had a lighter, more white-based sheen/finish, so it looked a bit lighter and brighter once applied and blended out on my skin tone. The consistency was soft, smooth, and blendable with a light slip to it that gave it a creamier feel to the touch. The powder seemed to smooth out my skin a bit, and it definitely didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading slightly (which was exactly as long as the brand claimed!).

It's supposed to be "long-lasting" with "8-hour wear" with a formula that "instantly minimizes the appearance of pores" while giving "lit-from-within luminosity." The shades I tried had good pigmentation with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was slightly powdery but applied well to bare skin and blended out without issues. They had more of a moderate-level of luminosity--shimmery but not metallic. They wore for eight hours on me, which was as marketed, before fading noticeably.

What a pretty peachy highlighter! I really love it because it has just the right amount of sheen and they nailed down the peach tone perfectly.
Very pretty and refreshing! I’m always glad to see good products come from bareMinerals.
This is a beautiful peachy highlighter. Bonus: it’s talc-free. But I’m all set with my Beach Nectar highlighter from Becca x Chrissy Teigen palette and with the Luminous Glow from Hourglass Vol. 4 Ambient palette, which pulls more peachy than coral on me.
What a Joy of a highlighter!
This is stunning! Is this shade not available at Sephora?
Apparently not — and oddly, when I bought it from Ulta, they only had three at the time (but now there are four…).
Their new highlighters seem way better than their old ones, Invisible Glow!! Although they did call them invisible, which is exactly how I found them. I used to use their old ones to blend and tone down a blush I went too heavy handed on but not as an actual highlighter. I’m having a hard time resisting not hauling most of these new ones.
I’m bummed that a more “natural” brand like BareMinerals is putting silicones in almost all of their releases now. It’s definitely a skin irritant for me and means I can’t pick up any of these new launches – which look so pretty.
Bismuth oxychloride is an irritant for me, I almost missed that. Bummer, it’s such a pretty shade.
Luckily that’s not one for me. But silicones are at the top of my list, followed by copolymers (makes sense), and sunflower oil (to a much lesser degree) to bring up the rear. Basically all the cheap filler stuff. Bismuth is a filler too I think?
It’s synthetic pearl I believe.
Love this ! So glad it didn’t emphasize skin texture , may have to check this, out for Summer!
Oh, I really, really love this one! A perfect peachy blush.
What a beauty!
The colour isn’t one I’d look at twice if I saw it in store, but seeing the blended out swatch made it very interesting. Good thing that it’s permanent.
I think if joy had a colour, it would be pretty close to this.
Saying that, I have dupes, but wow this is pretty.
BareMinerals is so underrated. I love so many of their products, including their Gen Nude eyeshadow palettes. I plan to pick up most of these new highlighters over time, but I think this one is at the top of my list.
I saw this at ulta this week and I’m normally not super amused by the same ol’ same ol’ highlighters out. When I swatched this, I lost it. The texture and the color itself are awe inspiring!!!! I honestly expected this from a $50 highlighter, not from bare Minerals. This company has stepped up to the competition and is owning it!! I got their barepro foundation too! Thank you for bringing attention to company who truly tries and has reasonable prices!
I could achieve this look (though not as smoothly, maybe) with a blush and a few highlighters that I already own, so I don’t need it, but it sure is nice to look at!
Do you think this could be used as a glowy blush on fair skin? It just looks so pretty!
I don’t see why not!
