Too Faced Natural Face Palette Review & Swatches
Natural Face
Too Faced Natural Face It Just Comes Naturally Face Palette ($44.00 for 0.84 oz.) is a new, permanent six-pan cheek palette that features two highlighters, two blushes, and two bronzers. According to the brand, the shades are supposed to have “buildable payoff” with a “velvety-soft” texture.” Some shades are rather pigmented with others being more semi-opaque and buildable, which was the major “ding” on this palette. The textures of the shades was soft, smooth, and easy to apply and to use on my skin. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me.

Starlight
Starlight is a pale, yellowed peach with a pink-to-violet sheen. It had medium, buildable pigmentation (the only true, buildable shade in the palette) with a smooth, moderately dense consistency. The highlighter applied well to my cheek bones and blended out without issue. It wore well for eight hours on me.

Pink Wink
Pink Wink is a bright, medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and barely-there, golden pearl. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was buildable to full coverage, but I would have described this as rather pigmented and not really buildable without effort (deliberately going in with a lighter hand). The texture was just a touch powdery in the pan, but the powder blended out with ease on my skin and had a luminous glow after I buffed it in. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading slightly.

Sunny Honey
Sunny Honey is a medium brown with strong, warm orange undertones and a satin finish–it appeared almost matte, but the the gold shimmer strewn through the bronzer became more apparent after I blended it on my skin. The texture was soft, just a touch dusty in the pan, but the powder blended out well on my skin. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that went to opaque coverage with two layers. It lasted for seven and a half hours on me before fading slightly.

Satin Sheets
Satin Sheets is a very light, pinky-peach base with strong, warm gold pearl paired with a metallic finish. The highlighter was incredibly pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-like texture that applied well to bare skin and blended out nicely. It didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture but was still a strong highlighter. This seemed to be the same color as the same-named eyeshadow. The highlighter stayed on well for eight hours before I noticed any fading.

Pink Sand
Pink Sand is a muted, medium rosy pink with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff in a single layer, which was buildable to full coverage with a second layer. The consistency was smooth, soft, and blendable without being powdery or too firmly pressed in the pan. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

Tropic Like It's Hot
Tropic Like It’s Hot is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer with a smooth, almost cream-like texture–it felt denser and thicker but wasn’t stiff to work with. This seemed more like a highlighting bronzer as there was quite a bit of shimmer going through it. I had no trouble applying it to my skin and blending the bronzer out, but it did emphasize my skin’s natural texture somewhat. This shade lasted for eight hours on me.

I really love the looks of this, but I think Tropic Like It’s Hot would be too dark for me to really use. I might catch it on a sale at some point. I wish Pink Wink and Satin Sheets were singles.
It’s Too Faced, and for a big change, I love it in spite of that. I think I’m going to be getting this cheek palette, as I only see one shade that just isn’t doing it for me: the *matte* bronzer. All 5 of the remaining shades are perfect everyday shades for me.
I got this palette and I am really loving it. Super pigmented so I have to use a light hand, but I love that TF is incorporating coconut oil in so many of their products.
My thoughts exactly Nancy, I havenโt been interested in anything from Too Faced in a year at least!! Until this! I may get this as well!
I’m so tempted to buy this palette but I was waiting for your review! This is probably not a must-have for a lot of people but I don’t own any complexion palettes like these, in fact, I only own one powder highlighter, blush and bronzer (which is the only bronzer in collection), as I prefer creams. Do you think this would be a nice purchase or are there other options? ?
I think it’s nice option overall if they’re colors you’d wear. For me, a cheek palette is worth considering if you feel like you’d actually use most of the shades and if you can’t use one or two alone, that you could layer them.
This is quite lovely. Not for me BC I don’t want shimmer in my bronzer and need it to last a bit longer but this is great for Too Faced.
I really like the shades in this blush palette – a collection of soft and stronger shades that would work well on fairer complexions – hopefully the brand will bring out another palette to suit other skintones.
I can’t get over how much I love Too Faced ‘s new packaging. My complexion has the tendency to pull products orange so even though I thought for sure I would get this when I saw the grade, I guess it’s not for me. Satin sheets though…soooo pretty!
Not even 2 months later and guess whatโs in the mail….
Palm/face.
I was thinking I could bypass this one.
Seeing your swatches I know I would use three for sure (Starlight, Pink Wink, Satin Sheets).
That’s only half the product, but if I buy even two dupes for my favourite two from this palette, it would be $60 minimum (already more than this TF palette at $54).
Dupe options:
Not a lot in my case. For Pink Wink, the TF So Peachy dupe (the easiest for me to get find in Canada, without having to say order the gorgeous Jouer Kiss Me, and deal with shipping cost, customs, etc.) is not a good product (according to your score–and I swatched it in store, and felt the same).
Satin Sheets, the closest dupes are either LE and no longer available, or simply a lot of trouble to track down.
I think I’ve just talked myself into it.
Actually, I found a suitable alternative for Pink Wink in my collection, the Becca Hibiscus Bloom from the Chrissy palette:
https://www.temptalia.com/side-by-side/?sbs_1_search=Becca+Hibiscus+Bloom&sbs_1=297847&sbs_2_search=Too+Faced+Pink+Wink&sbs_2=332785
I may have talked myself out of it again, after all ๐
I just might pick this up during the Sephora spring sale!
