Tropic Like It's Hot is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer with a smooth, almost cream-like texture--it felt denser and thicker but wasn't stiff to work with. This seemed more like a highlighting bronzer as there was quite a bit of shimmer going through it. I had no trouble applying it to my skin and blending the bronzer out, but it did emphasize my skin's natural texture somewhat. This shade lasted for eight hours on me.
