This is a new addition to the Tom Ford Bronzing Powder range. Similarly, it is available in the smaller size (which is what is shown in the review) as well as a larger size. It is more subdued and more yellow-based than the other two shades. The texture was a little drier and didn’t blend out easily as the other shades, which was a disappointment. It had a thinner feel that seemed smooth, but there was a dryness present that made it prone to sticking in certain places but not wanting to diffuse or stretch across the skin for even coverage. It had decent color payoff and wore for eight hours on me.

Bronzers so rarely appeal to me. I guess I don’t really go for a tanned look? I used to use Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil under my cheekbones, I’ll sometimes use Hourglass Radiant Light powder that way now, especially on a casual day when I’m not really contouring, but mostly it seems like a product that either doesn’t do much for me or that I don’t really know how to use. Plus most of them look *really* orange or yellow to me, not my most flattering colors.
I’m warm-toned, and I tan easily, but I don’t really reach for bronzer. I tend to just use blush and highlighter myself 🙂
Oh yess. I love it when overpriced make up products get a B or lower! Means I don’t have to lust after it *throws confetti*
it really does looks drying like you said!
lol!
Looks super warm! And the price *hides face*!
At least there are two sizes, so one doesn’t have to pay the $100+!
Looks very pretty on you!
Thank you, Katherine!
I love love love when you post Tom Ford stuff! That bronzer looks amazing. I could probably get away with wearing it everyday. I just love bronzers!
Thank you, Gauri!
How would you say this compares to tera or gold dust? Specifically which would you suggest for someone NC42
Terra
I’ve been going back and forth on this for 2 weeks! My lone beauty goal for this year (to heck with low and no buys, if January and February are an indication) is to not do any returning. I love the packaging and really want to expand my Tom Ford stash, but I don’t want to buy this un-swatched. The only other bronzer I have is MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Deep. Well, that and the bronzer in The Afternooner as soon as that gets here. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.
How often do you use bronzer, Pearl?
Daily – I feel ‘not done’ and dull/flat without it. ?
It’s waaaay to orange for me!
Totally understand, Erin!
FINALLY a deeper bronzer. But for its hefty price tag, it needs to be an A or A-, minimum. For now, I’ll be content with my Laura Mercier 03 Bronzer and Ritual blush (looks like a bronzer?) and Colourpop Poolside. Oh well, $$$ saved!
Is it odd that I wish it was a little darker? It’s definitely darker, but I feel like they could go deeper.
No, not odd at all! I believe there is a real need for more variation going upwards into deeper shades.
I think this would be to yellow and dark for my. It’s a good color go you, Christine.
What would happen if you put a little extra MUFE HD loose clear powder where you apply the blush then buff them down to normal coverage? It would have to be a very fine powder. I find I need to buff after bronzer and highlighter anyway to soften and blend.
BTW, Im not wearing reading glaSSES so if anything looks goofy, go to the next closest letter. Thanks
Whoa! Is this ever too YELLOW. It’s too yellow on you and I know it would be too yellow on me!
Hey
I am nc30
And really cannot make out which tom ford bronzer should i go for??
Terra??
Bronze age or gold dust??
I like Terra the most personally!
