Chisel is a muted, medium brown with subtle, warm yellow undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation with a firmer consistency, but it wasn't too difficult to work with or to get color onto the brush, though it definitely seemed to improve after a few uses (the surface seemed to soften). It was fairly blendable but was best applied in sheerer layers to minimize buffing at the end. This shade lasted for eight hours on me before fading.
