MAC Canyon Dreamin' is a very warm-toned, light-medium brown with a satin finish. It is a limited edition bronzer that retails for $30.00 and contains 0.35 oz.
MAC Canyon Dreamin' Next to Nothing Bronzing Powder ($30.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a light-medium, golden brown with a natural matte finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer where a little went a long way, so I'd highly recommend using a lighter hand with this product (or a less-dense brush) if the sheerer coverage, as marketed, was what you wanted.
The texture was smooth and finely-milled, though a little thinner and more prone to adhering more readily to bare skin but not wanting to spread and diffuse as easily--this does happen with some more matte powders (as my skin is normal-to-dry, so it's not flat/matte). I find applying over matte foundation or a dusting of translucent powder remedies that, though I applied and blended it out as seen in the swatch over bare skin--it just took a little more effort! It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours on me before I noticed signs of fading.
