I’ve mixed and layered products to create different shades, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually bought ingredients and created something at home!
Blush! I love the effect of blush on the cheeks, but sometimes blending and diffusing the color to the right intensity and coverage takes more work than I’d like!
I think it’s a tie between eyeshadow and highlight–I find eyeshadow to be really fun, while a highlight is really satisfying to apply.

There aren’t too many brands that I can recall disappearing while being interested in makeup… I miss Tarina Tarantino’s line (which is still selling to a degree, though it looks primarily like what’s left of the line).
These days, it’s usually if it’s broken or if they sent the wrong shade.
It hasn’t really! I feel like my skin is a little drier than it’s “norm” these days so I’m still reaching for more hydrating products.
I’m rolling with whatever’s launching, which does feel more pastel-inspired this year than usual! Otherwise, nothing specific 🙂
