Single Eyeshadows (Under $10) | 2021 Editor's Favorites
While the majority of powder eyeshadows are still found in palettes, I did manage to review just over 225 single eyeshadows this year that came in for under $10. There are so many fantastic single eyeshadows, so it was difficult narrowing them down, and I feel like I still left so many off the list that I loved, but here are 27 that really caught my eye this past year.
If you’re unfamiliar with how I like to do my year-end favorites, here’s the low down: I pull from the products I reviewed in 2021, regardless of whether they were new, limited edition, or an established range I’ve only just gotten around to reviewing. These are personal favorites, so they may or may not be the highest rated products reviewed during the year (though they will tend to be better rated, naturally!). My most used single eyeshadow was PMG’s Lapis Luxury and least used was City Color’s Cleo

I will probably look for something new. There are always more and more beautiful singles coming onto the market now at such reasonable prices and I am sure that there will be a navy blue shade.
Was single eyeshadow a big part of your routine in 2021?
No, they aren’t. I love many of the shades, but the ones I was drawn to I had fairly near dupes for in my palettes.
So many gorgeous single eyeshadows that you reviewed this past year! Terra Moon, Sydney Grace, Give Me Glow and Clionadh have some beautiful shades. Now as for my personal use, I have more store of basic singles mostly from MAC, but I also love MAC Jealousy Wakes, Vibrant Grape, Magic In Your Eyes, Sweet Heat, and now Right Before Your Eyes, plus some indie multi-chrome shades I was recently gifted like Clionadh Kiln or bought like SG Dear Reader. Singles still play a special role in my makeup looks.
