Sydney Grace Dear Reader Pressed Pigment Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium lavender with neutral undertones and a bright, metallic finish.
For those following along on Instagram, I shared this shade along with three other versions I received for Temptalia (in the Radiant Reflection palette). This was shade three (I chose shade four to be shade Temptalia), which received an overwhelming amount of support and love. It was the color that I gravitated toward, too, but the coolness of it didn't pair as well with the Radiant Reflection story compared to the fourth shade (which is warmer and has a warmer sheen).
I also felt that the color was a little similar to Lunar Illumination, which was already finalized and made, but with so many readers falling in love with this shade, I felt awful not choosing it! It never hurts to ask, so I did, in fact, ask Sydney Grace if it was possible that they'd consider making this shade as a single... and they said yes. I didn't even really intend for it to be part of the collaboration, I just wanted to be able to tell readers it was going to come someday! Of course, I named it Dear Reader as a result.
It is cooler-toned in lower lighting (indoor, filtered sunlight, shade, etc.) and slightly warmer, rosier in brighter lighting (outdoors, direct sunlight). It has a very shiny finish, which I think was part of why this and the fourth shade captured so many readers' hearts!

P.S. -- I did not intend to rate the products from my collaboration, mostly because who would believe my ratings? It felt almost silly, but I had SO many requests to rate.
