Give Me Glow Foiled Pressed Shadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 5 of 5)
Jellyfish
Give Me Glow Jellyfish Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a vivid, berry base with subtle, cool undertones paired with brighter, blue-to-violet shifting shimmer that gave it a metallic finish.
It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that was moderately-dense but not too thick or too firm, so it was easy to apply and blend out. This shade creased faintly after eight and a half hours of wear.

The brand offers matte and foiled finish eyeshadows, though the descriptions are largely the same: "highly pigmented," "blendable," and "finely milled." The difference is with the foiled finish eyeshadows, the brand cautions to use less because they're that pigmented and going in with a heavier hand could cause flaking.
The foiled eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented with a very smooth, creamy consistency that was dense without being too stiff or too firmly-pressed into the pan. I didn't have any issues picking up product with a dry brush, and they also worked well with fingertips or a dampened brush an even more intense, metallic finish that was ultra-shiny.
I found this finish to be more consistent, too, and it was rare to run into major issues with the shades in this finish. There were a few with a touch of fallout or that might have creased a bit faster over time, but by and large, they hit all the high notes for those who love pigmented, metallic eyeshadows. They wore between eight and nine hours, often creasing more than fading on me.
They come in oversized pans (relative to average size) at 37mm, and they contain double the product (0.10 oz.) the average eyeshadow does (0.05 oz.).

Private Jet
Give Me Glow Private Jet Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a brighter, darker mauve with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had opaque color coverage paired with a smooth, almost cream-like consistency that was dense but not thick or too stiff, so it was easy to pick up with a dry brush.
The product applied evenly to my lid and blended out well along the edges. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Storm
Give Me Glow Storm Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a darker gray with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic finish. The texture was soft, lightly creamy, and blendable, but it seemed more loosely-pressed in the pan relative to other shades in the range.
That looseness didn’t really impact the end result much, but it was a bit more prone to fallout during application, so I’d recommend pressing it into place, then blending it out. It had opaque pigmentation that wore nicely for eight and a half hours before creasing slightly.

Iced Coffee
Give Me Glow Iced Coffee Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a deep bronze with subtle, warm undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. The pigmentation was opaque in one layer, which adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.
The eyeshadow had a lightly creamy, somewhat denser consistency, but it wasn’t too stiff, so it picked up easily with a dry brush. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Buffy
Give Me Glow Buffy Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a darker, olive green with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The eyeshadow had rich color coverage paired with a smooth, lightly creamy consistency that was moderately dense and slightly thicker than most of the brand’s shimmer shades.
The thickness seemed to ensure that the more sparkly particles didn’t result in fallout during application or later on during wear. I didn’t have any issues picking up the product with a dry brush nor with applying it to bare skin. The color showed signs of wear after eight and a half hours.

Pistol
Give Me Glow Pistol Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a blackened taupe with subtle, warm olive undertones and a metallic sheen. It was almost like an olive-taupe, which I don’t really categorize most, if any colors in!
The texture was smooth to the touch, moderately dense and cream-like but not too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. It yielded opaque color coverage that applied well to bare skin and was blendable. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Good lord. Just take my money now.
This brand is really impressing me with its gorgeous array of shades that are perfectly curated and produced. I do love the olive shades the best, although they are too dark for me to wear. It’s also refreshing to see the brand’s variations on grey shades as well, with Pencil Me In, Storm and Pistol having a slight touch of other shades mixed in.
It’s almost PAINFUL how beautiful these are. Storm, Iced Coffee, Buffy and the unique Pistol have me almost drooling and even Private Jet (which is a shade that can be tricky for me) has me coveting it. These are so beautiful and so affordable too. I wonder if any Canadians here have ordered from this company and, if so, how it worked out in terms of pricing, exchange, duty (or no duty), etc.
Storm, Buffy and Pistol are beautiful but they actually all look so luxurious!
All fantastic performing shades, and perfect for darker grungy eye looks. I’m especially taken by Buffy, Private Jet and Iced Coffee!
Wow! Beautiful!
I’m so glad you decided to review this brand! I think I have 90% of her shadows if not more so I’m really enjoying seeing all of the dupes for other brands.
a lot of these look like perfect everyday one-and-done shades for dark skin! what great color payoff, too. love the look of these!
Wow, those are some nice swatches!! So pretty!
Wow, these are well chosen names. Pencil Me In in particular looks just like what happens when you get graphite all over your hands and then rub your eyes, but …much more comfortable, intentional and controlled, hah.
All of these went directly to my wish list. Gorgeous eyeshadows. I’ll see how much the shipping is and then wait for a release from another brand before buying any of the shades.
I love the greys, I seem to be longing for grey eyeshadows these days. I also think the lovely Pencil Me In will be great with Jellyfish.
I just placed an order for 7 shadows; shipping was $5.25.
Nice!
Do you live in The US? I’m in Europe and sometime the shipping is awfully expensive.
Hi Helene, I am so sorry, yes I am in the US. I hope the shipping to Europe isn’t really expensive. Sorry for assuming you were in the States.
No problem, Donna. It’s not strange that you’d think of us all being in the same country. In a way we are, Makeup Country 🙂
I find it flattering, I thought my English was a give away.
Woah. Iced Coffee and Buffy can find their way to my house any time.
I have Private Jet and I love it !
