Sephora Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn #Lipstories Reviews & Swatches
Scorpio (96)
Sephora Scorpio (96) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deep burgundy with cooler undertones and a satin finish. The texture was lightweight, lightly creamy and moderately dense, so it applied without tugging on my lips but the color had good adhesion. It could have applied a bit more evenly, especially around the center area of my lips, which always looked a little more translucent. It had mostly opaque color payoff that stayed on well for five and a half hours, while the formula felt lightly moisturizing.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

LELimited Edition. $8.00.
Sagittarius (97)
Sephora Sagittarius (97) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and cooler purple pearl throughout that gave it a soft, metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied fairly evenly–more evenly than anticipated based on the initial swatch!
The texture felt emollient, lightweight, and thin but not clingy, so it glided easily over my lips without tugging. It wore well for four and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Capricorn (98)
Sephora Capricorn (98) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark chocolate brown with muted, warmer undertones and a satin finish. It was intensely pigmented in one layer, which applied evenly and didn’t emphasize my lip lines or natural lip texture.
The lipstick had a lightly creamy consistency that felt lightweight and was easy to work with. This shade lasted nicely for five hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Even though it looks like a serious 80’s throwback, I love Sagittarius! That one is so fun looking and also looks very even and nicely applying. But it does bring back my party days!
Scorpio looks amazing on you and I am *in* to the deep chocolate brown of Capricorn (omg, totally typo-ed it as “crapricorn” on first try). I love the formula (and price!!) of Sephora’s lipsticks, but man I don’t like the fragrance. That keeps me from reaching for the few I have and will prevent any future purchases. It sucks cuz they’re really nice. But something about “non-vanilla scented” lip products turns me off now. Especially fruit (a la bite beauty) and almost perfume.
Saggittarius is my sign, but this is not my colour at all! I’m more a bright coral/orange girl all years long
Yay! My sign Capricorn got an A. Capricorns always get the dark colors because we’re an earth sign. I’m going to get this because I love brown lip stick and Capricorns rock!!!
Well, technically I am a Scorpio, but because I was born a month early (twins), I really am a Sagitattarius – that is actually more like my personality type. But both those lipstick shades aren’t for me. Now Capricorn has got me very interested – love those brown shades.
Never think in that way. I was born more than 2 months early (end of November, instead of beginning of Febbruary), so should I consider myself an aquarius instead of saggittarius 🤔? Should I also consider myself a year younger🥳??
I think it depends on what your personality is like – do you feel that the descriptions of an aquarius personality suits you more than those of a saggittarius? It’s interesting because my twin sister is definitely a scorpian personality, whereas I am more sagittarius….
I always get a kick out of the “Scorpio” shades: deep burgundy/reds, maroon, oxblood…
None of which I’m drawn to. 🙂
