Sephora Free Hug Colorful Eyeshadow
Sephora Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is supposed to be “highly pigmented, long-lasting” powder eyeshadow with 10-hour wear and “an ultrasmooth, blendable texture.” For the most part, I find the range to have good color payoff, blendability, and wear, though they do not typically last as long as 10 hours (more like eight).
Sephora Free Hug Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium, rosy taupe with warm undertones and an almost metallic-like sheen. It had good color payoff with a soft, lightly dusty consistency that was blendable and didn’t look dry on the skin. The color started to fade after eight hours of wear.

Sephora Early Frost Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright white with a subtle, bluish tint and frosted sheen. It had semi-opaque color payoff that was somewhat buildable in practice. The texture was slightly firmer and thinner, but it wasn’t powdery or difficult to blend out on the skin. This shade wore well for eight hours before creasing. Sephora Messenger Bird Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, light-medium sky blue with cool undertones and a frosted finish. It had good color payoff with a fairly soft, smooth, and blendable texture–this one felt a little looser overall, so it wasn’t perfect in texture. Sephora Diving in Australia Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a dark, navy blue with cool undertones and a frosted sheen. The consistency was denser, more cream-like with a very smooth, blendable texture when I worked with it. It had great pigmentation, which applied well to bare skin. Sephora Luxurious Boot Camp Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a blackened forest green with subtle, warmer undertones and a mix of cooler, emerald green and warmer, gold glitter. The texture was very chunky, even though it felt almost “wet” to the touch, and was hard to manipulate on the skin as it would look uneven and turn patchy at times. Sephora Roasted Chestnuts Colorful Eyeshadow ($10.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a dark brown with a subtle, gray-ish tint paired with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation, but the texture was dustier and thinner, which translated into a harder-to-apply eyeshadow on the eye, as it would get a little patchy. Wow, I must get Diving in Australia – the blue color is stunning and an A-, too! Woohooo, so nice to see a blue score well. Also very pleased to see Sephora do well on the light blue and the matte brown, which can be hard to get right. Kind of sad about Luxurious Bootcamp, I was so excited until I swatched in store, and felt it was iffy –it seemed stiff and uneven, so glad I held off, turns out I have much better performing dupes, UD Zodiac and UD Protest. And the Chanel Empreinte dupe is in coming in the mail too. Guess I like this color a lot !
Diving in Australia is a nice one! 😀 Luxurious Boot Camp is definitely more like a glittery layering shade than a full-on eyeshadow, IMO.
Oh my goodness, I came so close to buying Diving In Australia on Wednesday night! I suppose I’m good with UD Evidence, though, since they’re dupes? I hardly ever wear true blues, though, because green eyes can look a bit odd with it except as an accent or eyeliner. But; I will now definitely get Nyx Frostbite!

I loved Roasted Chestnuts when I tried it in-store – in fact, I like it so much that I already had far too many dupes for it, though I might still buy it one of these days. It’s the sort of matte brown that I just love.

A Free Hug has been made even more desirable! 😉 That’s a beautiful shade. I love using Amethyst by LM along the bottom lash line… so having a shadow like Free Hug to blend onto the lid will create a nice balance.

Gorgeous eye look!
I wore Free Hug today, actually! It’s very nice. Sephora had to send it to me twice, though, my first order ended with 3/4 eyeshadows broken. Apparently, they’re packing things just as poorly as Ulta. The only reason one survived is it slid into an eyeliner package in transit.

Covered,but free hug will be a good replacement, should pink granite pan out. This reminded me to drag out the dangerous palette. These will all get some love and bring up the general opinion of Sepho’s house brand shadows. Lovely look, as always.

Diving in Australia is a terrific colour and I wished the Boot Camp one was better – however lots of dupes via the UD Spectrum palette. The light periwinkle blue colour was done well too. It is a hard colour to get right.
I think Luxurious Boot Camp was just too glittery to work really well in this type of formula, unfortunately! It would be better over a glitter adhesive, though.
Luxurious Bootcamp is GORGEOUS. my mother won a gift card at work and doesn’t wear much makeup so she’s giving it to me when i come back to the US for a visit this summer. This is DEFINITELY going on my list!!!
