Revlon Love is On, Luminous Lilac, Dewy Peach Melting Glass Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Love is On (017)
Revlon Love is On (017) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink-red with cooler undertones and a high-shine, cream finish with very faint ruby pearl. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied well in a single, fluid stroke. The texture was lightweight, creamy, and moderately emollient with noticeable slip when it was initially being applied (it was melting practically!).
I found that it didn’t seem quite as slippery after a minute or so of being on my lips but was still emollient. The color went on evenly, didn’t feather or bleed on me, and stayed on well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview
$9.99/0.15 oz. - $66.60 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "brilliant color with major payoff" with an "amazingly buttery feel that instantly melts onto your lips for glass-like shine." The coverage was more medium to semi-opaque, often buildable to a minor degree, so I don't know that I'd call it "major payoff," the coverage was noticeable and allowed for real differentiation from shade to shade as they weren't so sheer that they ran together.
The consistency has an incredibly creamy, smooth feel that definitely melts on the lips but seems to "set" subtly, which seemed to tamp down the slip slightly, though it was still moderately emollient on my lips. I'd recommend being more conscious of using one layer or so as it can be easy to over-apply due to how much it feels like it's melting against one's lips.
The finish was definitely glass-like; very shiny and gave the illusion of volume to my lips. I found that there was some color that settled into lip lines or caught on minor imperfections with some shades, though the shine made it harder to notice in person. I imagine if you like grab-and-go color that's glossy with medium coverage or greater color that's easy to apply and re-apply, this formula could be a match.
The formula had a subtle, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste. The biggest "con" to the formula was the packaging, which was industrially-wrapped with a very tacky sticker that was not just difficult to remove to open the lipstick to begin with but difficult to get all of the tackiness off. I'd recommend using a sharp knife/blade (safely!) to cut across the sticker, then twist the cap off rather than removing the sticker at all.

Luminous Lilac (018)
Revlon Luminous Lilac (018) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a light-medium purple with strong, warm undertones and a glossy, cream finish. There was barely-there pearl that gave it a more luminous shine but didn’t look that shimmery on overall.
The consistency was lightweight, creamy, and very fluid, so it was easy to apply in a single stroke as it felt like it melted against my lips during application. There was a fair amount of slip initially, which was worrisome, but it seemed to lessen after a minute or so of being worn. It had semi-sheer to medium color coverage, so it definitely didn’t live up to pigmentation claims, and it could have applied more evenly. It wore well for three hours and was hydrating over time.

Dewy Peach (019)
Revlon Dewy Peach (019) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a light-medium, pink-leaning coral with moderate,w arm undertones and a high-shine, glossy finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging, though there was a bit of product that sank into my deeper lip lines.
Thankfully, the settling wasn’t noticeable in person, just in the close-up photos. The texture was creamy, melt-on-your-lips as it was applied, and very emollient but set slightly so it didn’t feel quite so slippery during wear. It lasted well for three and a half hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Love Is On is beautiful, but I’m very happy to see that I already have the Guerlain dupe.
Love Is On looks like the perfect popsicle glassy pink-red! I’m definitely going to buy this one in May or June!
Luminous Lilac really was a letdown, though. But it’s alright because I have UD TMI Vice lipstick. Close enough.
Love is On is the one I got a few weeks ago (there were very few choices at the SDM where I was). I really like it and I’m delighted to see it scored so well. It’s perfect dupe for much pricier “gloss” type lippies that have been coming down the pipe from Gucci and Guerlain – it looks every bit as good and the wear time is similar too (IOW disappointing, but since I didn’t pay $40 for it, I don’t mind as much).
Love is on is a stunner! How perfect for spring or summer. I’m sad Luminous Lilac isn’t better. I love a sheer, bright purple like that.
I think Love is on and Dewy Peach can eventually find a home here in my lipstick collection,
I love all things purple but Luminous Lilac is disappointing, it really doesn’t matter as I have two dupes, with A and A- grades, so I’m all set for this shade of purple.
I really do like lip products from Revlon. the price is nice and the products often very good.
