Rare Beauty Love Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($20.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a deep, reddish-copper with moderate, warm undertones and a flat, matte finish. It was richly pigmented to the point where a little went a long way, and those who tend who aspire for sheer coverage may find it more challenging just learning to work with this product. Those who need or desire higher coverage will like how easy it is to achieve that result.
It had a very lightweight, thin, and emollient consistency that felt a bit like a serum, which made it seem thinner and even lighter than most liquid blushes. The color slid readily across my skin for even, diffused results when used with fingertips or a synthetic brush. The product worked well over bare skin as well as over foundation, but you'll want to work very quickly with this product--one cheek at a time!--as it was quick to set and became very difficult to move/blend from there (which resulted in lifting of foundation if applied over a base). I preferred using a synthetic brush as I felt it gave me more time to work than a fingertip, though. This shade lasted nicely for nine hours before showing signs of fading.
