ColourPop Beyond Cheek Dew Serum Blush ($7.00 for 0.48 oz.) is a darker, reddish-brown with warm undertones and a natural sheen. It looked more plum-like applied as it was sheerer and so there was less visible warmth. It had sheer color payoff, which did not build up as it the formula was overly emollient and liked to push the product around rather than build up.
The texture was very emollient, slippery, and runny, which made it difficult to apply in an even layer. I tried fingertips, brushes, and sponges, and this shade worked best patted onto my cheeks gently with a fingertip and then allowed to dry down for about 10 to 15 seconds before using the gentlest pressure to soften the edge.
It was the kind of product that I felt I could barely blend before it became disastrous--color moved around, patches of missing product or foundation that disappeared, if applied over complexion products--and I had to accept at suboptimal application. The color showed signs of fading after six hours of wear.
