MAC Lightly Charred is a very cool-toned, light gray with a semi-matte finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.1 oz.
MAC Lightly Charred Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "cool grey [with a Matte finish]." It's a light, bluish-gray with cooler undertones and a satin finish. I don't think this is a true matte, as there was a definite sheen to it when applied. It had nearly opaque pigmentation and went on evenly. The consistency was lightly creamy with a bit of slip, but it didn't slide around or appear streaky applied. Some of the color gathered into lip lines after three hours of wear, though it lasted just over four hours in all. KVD Beauty Zero (P, $19.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). KVD Beauty Zero (LE, $21.00) is darker, warmer (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
