Fenty Beauty Banana Frost is a moderately warm-toned, light gold with a metallic finish. It is a limited edition eyeshadow.
Banana Frost is a pale, yellow gold with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single layer with a firm, thin consistency that had a lot of waxiness to it, which helped it glide decently over my skin, but it did not have enough creaminess to apply easily to lids, lash lines, or lips without some tugging/pulling. It was easiest to use as an inner tear duct highlighter or as a wash all-over the lid but has to be applied directly from the tube as there was no color payoff if applied with fingertips (everything remained stuck to my fingertip!).
It performed poorly as a lipstick: it applied unevenly, emphasized lip texture, separated along my lip lines (and settled there), lifted if I dared press my lips together (even just talking), adhered poorly to the inner area of my lips, and looked even patchier and more uneven within an hour of wear. The "wear" as a lipstick was poor, though some of the color clung to my lips for a good six hours otherwise. The formula was drying on my lips.
