Danessa Myricks Real Love Colorfix Matte ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a vivid, deep red with cooler undertones and a matte finish. It had intense pigmentation in a single layer, where a little went a very long way, so I highly recommend using far less than necessary and building up, especially when working with it on eyes or cheeks. The formula built up beautifully but was harder to diffuse and sheer out if one over-applied.
The consistency was spreadable, blendable, and quick to dry down, so I'd work one area at a time, but it was forgiving enough on my skin to keep fussing with a bit after it had set. As a lip product, once it dried down, it was fairly budge-proof. It appeared much darker as a lip product--more burgundy than red--and looked drier with a slightly chalky feel. It lasted well for 10 hours as an eye and cheek product and over six hours as a lip product; it was non-drying over time as a lip color.
