Danessa Myricks Plum Wine is a very cool-toned, dark plum with a satin finish. It is a permanent eyeshadow that retails for $18.00 and contains 0.34 oz.

Editor's Review

Danessa Myricks Plum Wine Colorfix Matte ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a vivid, deeper raspberry red with cool, bluish undertones and barely-there pearl throughout. It looked more natural matte than overtly shimmery when I worked with it. The pigmentation was intense where a little went a long way, which was particularly noticeable when I used it as a cheek and eye product. I'd recommend applying some to the back of your hand or a metal palette, swirling the brush it and diffusing a bit prior to applying it to your skin.

The formula was smooth, fluid without being runny, and blendable so long as one worked very quickly to do so. I found fingertips often absorbed and dried the product out faster when I used them, so I preferred working with fluffy, synthetic brushes for both eye and cheek application. For lips, a brush or fingertip worked just fine.

It wore well for over six hours as a lip product, though it was a little drying over time. It stayed on for over nine hours on my cheeks before fading slightly and closer to 10 hours on my eyes.
