Chanel Rouge Vie (58) Rouge Allure Velvet ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich pigmentation in a single stroke, which had a smooth, more velvety-creamy feel that wasn't too slippery but didn't feel too silicone-heavy.
The latter was why I felt it applied better and was more forgiving of lip texture/lip lines. The color lasted well for five and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.
