It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips in a fluid stroke. The texture was lightweight, thin without being clingy, and went on effortlessly but didn't feel "wet" as it went on. The color stayed on well for five hours and was hydrating over time.
