Chanel No. 8 Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a slightly bright, medium red with subtle, warm undertones and a fine dusting of golden micro-shimmer. It was, in fact, a "hint of sparkle," as the brand had described. The consistency was smooth, velvety without being too emollient nor too powdery, which helped the color glide across my lips evenly but didn't feather on me over time. The formula seemed to help smooth out most of my lip lines, too. It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on well for five and a half hours and was lightly hydrating over time.
