Chanel Iconique (72) Rouge Allure Laque (2020) ($40.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a brighter, medium red with warmer undertones and barely-there pearl paired with a satin sheen. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which was buildable to full coverage with a second layer.
The texture was more fluid, thin, and like a liquid balm initially before developing into a more gel-like, lightly tacky consistency for the remainder of the wear (though never as thick as other comparable formulas that have a similar start-finish in texture). The product applied evenly across my lips and didn't emphasize my lip texture or lip lines. It stayed on nicely for six hours and felt moisturizing over time.
