Bobbi Brown Regal Crushed Lip Color ($29.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark red with strong, warm undertones and a natural sheen. The pigmentation built up from medium to mostly opaque (two layers), while the color went on evenly and didn't emphasize my lip lines. It had a lightweight, thinner consistency that felt waxy as it slid across my lips but never had that wet, creamy feeling that most non-matte lipsticks have these days. I felt like this helped it adhere for longer-wear but didn't lead to as much hydration as the formula was supposed to bring to the party. It wore well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.
