Chanel Experimente (74) Rouge Allure Laque (2020) ($40.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with warmer undertones and a natural sheen. It had medium color payoff in one layer, which could be built up to semi-opaque coverage with a second layer. The color itself applied evenly and easily across my lips, but it was a little more prone to catching on imperfections on my lips.
The liquid lipstick felt more like a liquid balm initially, as it was thin, spreadable, and felt emollient but not watery. It developed into a gel-like consistency that was on the thinner side and had light tackiness. It wore well for five hours and felt very hydrating.
