Chanel Continuous (61) Rouge Allure Laque (2020) ($40.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a light-medium, pinkish-coral with moderate, warm undertones paired with a soft sheen. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly and only settled into my lip lines noticeably in the close-up photos but not in person. I also felt like the color evened out within a half hour of wear, almost as it developed that slightly tackier feel and some of the slip disappeared.
The texture was thinner, more emollient, and spreadable initially, and then it quickly transitioned into something slightly more substantial with moderate tackiness. It stayed on well for five hours and felt moisturizing over time, but it wasn't the type of formula that lasted well through a meal, so it wasn't a surprise that it came nowhere near the 12-hour wear time claimed.
