Marc Jacobs Beauty Dancing Sheen & Pink-kiki Hydrating Gloss Sticks Reviews & Swatches
Dancing Sheen (566)
Marc Jacobs Beauty Dancing Sheen (566) Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss ($29.00 for 0.074 oz.) has a clear base with flecks of iridescent micro-sparkle paired with a glossy, shiny finish. It was described as “clear,” so the lack of pigmentation was as marketed.
The texture was lightweight, creamy with high slip and felt like it melted like butter against my lips during application. It added shine, smoothed out some of my lip lines, and sparkled lightly. The product stayed on for three hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$29.00/0.074 oz. - $391.89 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "the shine of a gloss" with the "nourishing" prowess of a "tinted lip balm" paired with a "mint scent." They have a very soft, creamy texture that has a balm-lipstick feel to it but with a lot of slip, which makes them easy to over-apply as they skate across the lips like melting butter. The coverage ranged from sheer to semi-sheer with fairly even application, but sometimes product gathered in my lip lines. It had a glossy finish that helped minimize the appearance of the product settling in my lip lines from afar. They were hydrating and comfortable to wear, but they only lasted between two and four hours on me. They were mint scented but I didn't notice any taste.

Dancing Sheen (566)
LELimited Edition. $29.00.
Pink-kiki (568)
Marc Jacobs Beauty Pink-kiki (568) Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss ($29.00 for 0.074 oz.) is a light pink with subtle, warm undertones and a sparkling, cream finish with a high-shine. The texture was lightweight, creamy, and very emollient with a fair amount of slip, which resulted in the milkier color settling noticeably in my lip lines.
I also felt like it was less forgiving of natural lip texture/imperfections. It had semi-sheer coverage, as marketed, that lasted for three hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Nope. Neither one is doing it for me. Dancing Sheen is basically an overpriced lip balm with a few random sparkles. Fenty did it a little bit better.
That pale pink milky shade is just plain awful.
It’s strange that the brand is bringing out all of these autumn toned eye pencils, yet these Lip Gloss/balms are very summery and not so hot.
I have so many wonderful lippies that these are an easy pass. Nothing wrong w them, I just have others I prefer more.
I’m not into super-sheer lippies, but these are really pretty. I won’t pay that much for what they are, but I like how they look.
