Pat McGrath Divine Rose II Mothership Eyeshadow Palette ($125.00 for 0.47 oz.) is a new, 10-pan palette that features eight shimmery shades and two matte shades. All of the shades performed consistently with the brand's past formulas; the domed shades, which are often called the "special" shades by fans have a denser, firmer feel but are blendable and easy to work with. The mattes were denser, more substantial, and very pigmented but both were even easier to work with than some past mattes. Skinshow Rose Opal was a little thicker in texture, which was one of very few "cons" across the palette.
Last I heard, while watching one of the brand's Instagram lives, it was undetermined whether this palette was going to be permanent or not (Sephora will carry the black packaging and has that marked as limited edition). It's still in stock while I'm writing this--the evening prior to it being published!--which shows that, hopefully, the brand has improved their inventory since last fall!
