MAC x Selena Lipglasses Reviews & Swatches
Bidi Bidi Bom Bom
MAC Bidi Bidi Bom Bom Lipglass ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a light pink with moderate, warm undertones and lots of shimmer and micro-sparkle throughout. The consistency was thicker than your typical gloss, though consistent with MAC’s formula, with moderate tackiness, but it had a smooth, plush feel as it spread well over my lips and smoothed out some of my lip lines. It had semi-sheer to medium coverage that lasted well for four hours and felt hydrating over time.
Also, it seemed a little warmer compared to the original release.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.1 oz. - $210.00 Per Ounce
The Lipglass formula is supposed to be “pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic color” that can be worn “on its own, over lip pencil or lipstick” and will “condition lips.” MAC could use an update on the description as some shades are more pigmented than others but several are sheerer and likely intended to be that way. The formula has a very glossy, high-shine finish with a light-medium weight and moderate tackiness.
I have found that newer Lipglasses (over the last couple of years) are smoother and not quite as tacky as the formula was many years ago. They wear from three to six hours on me and are usually lightly hydrating. MAC recently updated the shade range and packaging for the range (though the formula was said to be unchanged), so worth noting is that with that packaging change came a reduction in quantity to 0.10 fl. oz. (was 0.17 fl. oz.), which may matter for some but not everyone.

Hey Dad Pizza
MAC Hey Dad Pizza Lipglass ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a light-medium, golden copper with strong, warm undertones and a more tinted, almost translucent base. The majority of the semi-sheer “coverage” came in the form of the shimmer and micro-sparkle suspended in the gloss base.
It added warmth and deepened my natural lip color slightly. The consistency was moderately tacky, smooth, and spreadable but felt a little thicker compared to most glosses (but it was more smoothing of my lip lines). This shade lasted well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

LELimited Edition. $21.00.
The Washing Machine
MAC The Washing Machine Lipglass ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a pale, warm white base with flecks of iridescent shimmer and micro-sparkle that flashed pink, coral, and silver, depending on how the light hit the particles. The texture was smooth, moderately thick but not truly heavy with noticeable tackiness, but it was comfortable and hydrating to wear over the four hours it lasted for. It had semi-sheer to medium coverage, which wasn’t quite as described, and the product could have applied more evenly overall.

Fingers ?? my stimulus check comes before the next drop at Macy’s on Thursday, because I seriously love Hey Dad Pizza! For the shade itself and the meaning of the phrase. It makes me think of crystalized honey!
I do like these glosses.
The last color could help Nancy T with her lippie dryness concerns.
Hey Dad would be a lovely shade to wear on top of coppery lipsticks.
All of the shades are really pretty. I don’t wear a lot of lip gloss but will occasionally throw some on to run to the store. I like all three so probably will randomly pick one. I have been trying to decide which gloss from PMGL to pick up during the sale and haven’t been able to decide on one so may just go with this instead.
