MAC Bright Pink Bouquet Cremesheen Glass

MAC Bright Pink Bouquet Cremesheen Glass ($28.00 for TBA oz.) is described as a “nude coral.” It’s a medium, orange-coral with lighter pink and white pearl. It swatched much brighter than it looked in the tube or applied, but it isn’t a vibrant coral on, which is where it counts. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which made it the most pigmented of the three (the Cremesheen Glass formula is a sheerer range). The color applied easily and was comfortable to wear over the three hours it lasted. Gucci Beauty Crushed Coral (DC, $32.00) is darker (90% similar). NARS Bite (LE, $26.00) is less shimmery, less pigmented (90% similar). Becca Watermelon/Opal (P, $24.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Sephora Good Fairy (LE, $14.00) is lighter, less pigmented (90% similar). Guerlain Nahema Smack (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Pretty Vulgar Brilliantly Sneaky (P, $24.00) is more shimmery, brighter (85% similar). MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). MAC Nymphette (P, $21.00) is lighter, less pigmented, cooler (85% similar). Surratt Beauty Flamant (P, $32.00) is less shimmery, lighter, brighter (85% similar). Dior Ever Dior (643) (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (85% similar). Pat McGrath Bronze Temptation (P, $30.00) is less pigmented, cooler (85% similar). Anastasia Parfait (P, $16.00) is more shimmery, cooler (85% similar). Revlon HD Sunstone (565) (DC, $8.99) is lighter, brighter (80% similar). Chanel Sahara (610) (LE, $30.00) is lighter, cooler (80% similar). ColourPop Champagne Mami (DC, $10.00) is less shimmery, less pigmented (80% similar). MAC Love of Roses Cremesheen Glass ($28.00 for TBA oz.) is described as a “true red.” It’s a vibrant, medium-dark pinky-red with cool, blue undertones and a mostly cream finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which made it look almost like a lip stain with a glossy finish applied. The gloss went on evenly for the most part, but there was a little gloss that you could see that darkened lip lines. The color lasted for two and a half hours on me, while the formula was lightly moisturizing over time. Maybelline Radiant Ruby (530) (P, $8.99) is lighter (95% similar). MAC Hot/Cold (LE, $21.00) is darker (90% similar). Dior Rose Harpers (766) (P, $35.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). MAC Viva Glam Rihanna (LE, $21.00) is warmer (90% similar). Sephora Fuchsia Fiesta (22) (P, $12.00) is lighter, brighter, cooler (90% similar). Christian Louboutin Beaute Colibretta (P, $85.00) is darker, cooler (90% similar). MAC Strawberry Malt (LE, $21.00) is darker (85% similar). MAC Glam (LE, $21.00) is brighter, more pigmented (85% similar). NARS Burning Love (LE, $26.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). MAC Pale Moon Cremesheen Glass ($28.00 for TBA oz.) is described as a “mid-tone pink nude.” It’s a light-medium, peachy-coral with lighter gold and white pearl. It had semi-sheer color coverage with noticeable shimmer. The consistency is lightweight, comfortable to wear as it is smooth and mostly non-sticky. It lasted for two and a half hours on me, and it was lightly hydrating. Charlotte Tilbury Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (L.S.D.) (LE, $22.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Lancome Mirrored Nude (09) (P, $22.00) is cooler (90% similar). Maybelline Enthralling Nude (500) (P, $8.99) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC Prancin' Dancin' (LE, $20.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). MAC Dynasty at Dusk (P, $20.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). MAC NUDE (LE, $21.00) is cooler (90% similar). Sephora Good Fairy (LE, $14.00) is darker, warmer (90% similar). MAC Stoke the Flame (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Giorgio Armani Luce (101) (P, $38.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Sephora Fresh Peach (07) (P, $12.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). MAC Telegenius (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter (85% similar). MAC Satin Slip (LE, $20.00) is more shimmery, darker, less pigmented (85% similar). Ciate Luna (P, $18.00) is cooler (85% similar). ColourPop Moon Tiara (LE, $10.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (90% similar). Too Faced Metallic Chocolate Diamonds (P, $21.00) is darker, warmer (85% similar). NARS Orgasm (P, $26.00) is cooler (90% similar). MAC Love Nectar (P, $21.00) is less shimmery, lighter (85% similar). Makeup Geek VIP (P, $15.00) is lighter, more pigmented (85% similar). Pat McGrath Flesh Astral (P, $30.00) is less shimmery (85% similar). ColourPop Atole (LE, $10.00) is lighter, less pigmented (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

I like the swatch for Pink Bouquet (although I don’t see any pink in it), too bad it isn’t as vibrant on the lips, or I would grab it. After shelling out major bucks for Night Sky, I think I can skip these. But for those that like the colors and packaging, these are a lot more affordable than the shadow quads

I like Bright Pink and Pale Moon. The price isn’t to bad for these considering I have paid over $30 for HE brand glosses. But, considering the grades, I’m not sure they are worth it. Have you tried any of these over the lipsticks Christine? I know some some of Mac’s glosses layer well for me and others seem to kinda break down the lipstick.

Bright Pink Bouquet looks fabulous! But $28 for a B+ lipgloss takes some mulling over….I do love the packaging, and that is a shade I know I would wear to death, but B+ for $28, I just don’t know….if only it was at all counters, then I could see whether it would translate well on my lips!

Hi Christine,

Do you think the Bright Pink Bouquet shade is similar to Mac Cremesheen Glass in Geo Pink (LE)? That color is my holy grail and I’m down to one more tube (bought around 10 of them when it was launched). It looks similar, I’m hoping this is a strong dupe contender!!

Thanks 🙂
