It had semi-sheer color payoff, which applied evenly and smoothly over the lips, giving them a natural tint/appearance. Despite it seeming more coral in the tube and swatched, the pink tones of my natural lip color made it so the gloss looked like a pink-coral overall--obviously the sheerness of the formulation will make these glosses appear differently from person to person as a result.
