MAC Touch the Earth Mineralize Rich Lipstick
MAC Touch the Earth Mineralize Rich Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “light wood brown.” It’s a muted, light-medium beige-brown with warm, yellow undertones and a soft shine. MAC Styled in Sepia (LE, $16.00) is darker, more matte. Maybelline Truffle Tease (930) (P, $7.49) is slightly darker, less yellow. MAC Shitaki (LE, $16.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
This shade will launch on December 26th in-stores and pop-up a bit earlier on MAC’s website on the 23rd. There are four other shades in the collection (Be Fabulous, Luxe Natural, Dreaminess, and Style Surge), which are all are repromotes. The formula is supposed to feel “lightweight, non-sticky” with “maximum moisturizer and “long-lasting colour in a single stroke” (though the coverage is described as “buildable”). It was mostly opaque with a thin, creamy consistency that glided onto lips easily. For the most part, it went on evenly, but it can streak a little bit and will leave “lines” if you press your lips together. It was nicely hydrating, though, while it wore well for three and a half hours on me.

Looks amazing on you dear Christine !
Thank you, Aleena!
Perfecto
Glad you liked it!
This is one of those light, nude shades that does nothing for me. I’ll stick with Shitaki.
Shitaki is nice!
This looks alright on you, it’s a nice nude. I think this color could look quite sickly on some people though (including me)
Definitely one that will work for some but not for everyone!
Too warm and light for me!
Bummer!
seems like brown lipstick is really back. BTW, i really liked this on on you!
Thank you, Julie! 🙂
Ooh, I’m really liking this. Out of everything MAC right now, I’m still lusting over Marque the most, though.
Marque has such a pretty shimmer to it!
🙁 too warm for me, the yellow would make me look sick! i love that that it really is a light wash of brown though
Totally understand! It has a very strong yellow undertone!
Like the warmth it has, will have to try it on to see if it is not too light for me. Everything looks good on you!
Aw, thank you Lily!
Awww!!! I was so very much hoping that this would be similar to Crème Cerise but it’s not even close! 🙁 It looks fantastic on you, Christine. I wonder how it is compared to Fresh Brew? If it’s anywhere near or similar to it, I might be tempted to try it out.
I think Fresh Brew might not run as yellow but they’re similar!
Not what I consider a pretty shade. When I saw the lipsticks in the new Chanel spring launch, I thought “Oh good – PRETTY” but now, seeing this…not so pretty.
Do you think you’ll check out Chanel’s when it hits counter?
This Is much nicer on than in the tube.
That’s always good!
This is absolutely not my shade! 😀 But I don’t thing cool-toned vampires is really it’s target audience, LOL! It looks very sophisticated and businesslike on you! 😀
Wow, I wasn’t expecting this to be so pretty. It looks beautiful on you! I want it now lol
This colour is very meh to me. I love strong coloured lipsticks.
How does it compare to Siss which was repromoted in a recent collection?
Siss is a little browner (not as warm), and it has a lighter/more luminous look!
