Jardin de Chanel Blush Camelia Rose ($55.00) (Limited Edition)

A romantic blush with irresistible charm to sweep over cheekbones like a springtime breeze. Slipped into a pouch, the black lacquered case highlights a delicate powder and reveals a raised camellia motif. A duo of pinks, one delicate and one more intense, recalls the delicate grace and purity of the favorite flower of Mademoiselle Chanel. It makes cheeks blush with all the freshness of spring.

Why Chanel, why?!?! Do you take pleasure in reducing me to the crazy lady in the counter in December asking when the Spring collection is out? Is that it? Is that it?!

Unfortunately here in Europe, at least here in my country, these will only come out in mid February at best (from past experience). Technically it’s not even Winter yet and I’m begging for the Spring stuff, so the makeup ladies tend to give me the super polite look reserved for the truly special crazy. XD

(I know better now… I just silently stalk the counters… ;D)

Oh, that blush. I would be terrified to use it and risk ruining those beautiful flowers. That whole collection is absolutely lovely. I wish I had the budget for Chanel – I really need to win the lottery soon.

The eyeshadow palettes were not screaming “buy me”. The nail colors are very dupable along with the lip shades. I purchased the beautiful LE blush only to have my husband do the dirty work and return it because on my NC45 skintone it kinda came off looking a little flat and ashy. But the other blush release in Angelique….BEAUTIFUL. She’s a keeper.

That rose-embossed blush looks lovely but I wonder if the two colors go all the way to the bottom of the pan or if there will just be one remaining after the embossing is worn off.

The other concern I have with this particular color is that the darker pink can make me look bruised. I’d love to see swatches of this but am afraid that the LE aspect will make this sell out before I can see them.

I’m sure it’s just me, but as a whole all Chanel collections minus the one with that yellow mascara look exactly the same. It’s as if you got one – you got them all. Except for the overpriced prints on le items and the aforementioned unwearable (for me) yellow mascara nothing is memorable . Not that the purpose of mu collections is to dazzle and entertain us, but still… snoozefest.

I bought wayyyyyy too much.. but I don’t regret a single piece!! Everything is just gorgeous in person. I’m regretting not getting both quads but at least the one is perm <3 I can't wait to see your swatches of everything!

So pretty.I’m not ready for spring collections yet though. I own NOTHING by Chanel. Wouldn’t know where to start. Hope you get a chance to review Christine.
