MAC Lunar Lights Extra Dimension Skinfinish Reviews & Swatches
Lunar Lights
MAC Lunar Lights Extra Dimension Skinfinish ($37.00 for 0.31 oz.) is a light, golden peach with warmer undertones and a smooth, luminous finish. It had opaque color payoff in a single layer, which adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out effortlessly — it really seemed to diffuse as I applied it.
The consistency was smooth, moderately-dense, and a touch on the firmer side, as is expected for a gel-powder formula, so a moderately-dense brush picked up product best. It stayed on well for nine hours before fading visibly on me.

The Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula is supposed to give “the perfect glow to the skin” with a “creamy powder formula” that wears for “10 hours.” It’s a powder highlighter that I’d describe as a moderate to intense highlighter, and they come in varying hues with some that might work as highlighting blushes/bronzers are on some skin tones and true highlighters on other skin tones. In general, the formula is very pigmented, blendable, and wears around eight to nine hours on me.

NICE!!! This is the only thing from this collection that caught my eye or appealed to me but in reality, it’s a bit warm for my skin tone but it’s still a beauty. I’m trying hard NOT to be tempted!
Here’s hoping that it’s still available in February, because I really do love the peachiness of this golden highlighter! It’s beautiful!
Hi Nancy. On my light skin, NW10-NW13, this doesn’t appear “peachy”, just a very pretty light champagne gold.
Now this is beautiful and I love the embossing on it.
This is so pretty. I love Mac’s Extra Dimension Skin Finish formula. It’s definitely the best powder highlight product out there.
I love the embossing, like the packaging, love how it looks on Christine’s cheeks, but for me, too warm.
Mine arrived yesterday and it’s beautiful. I love the ED formula.
