Chanel Ivory Gold (10) is a very warm-toned, light gold with a sparkle finish. It is a permanent highlighter that retails for $58.00 and contains 0.3 oz.
Chanel Ivory Gold (10) Highlighting Powder ($58.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a light gold with warm, yellow undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had good color payoff in a single layer, though the texture was forgiving and I felt like I could tone down the coverage and shine a bit by using a lighter hand. The highlighter felt smooth to the touch but after a couple of uses, the powder seemed to soften, though it never actually felt stiff.
Chanel described the powder as having a "sheer, radiant finish," and I'd expect "sheer" to indicate more of a veil of radiance--it is not the clearest description. There are noticeable sparkles/micro-glitters in this particular shade, and there were quite a few, so I would only recommend this for someone who loves an over-the-top highlight. It had a very shiny, metallic finish and seemed to accentuate my skin's natural texture just a bit at higher coverage levels. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading.
