MAC Framboise Moi, Hey, Kiss Me, Hi-Frutease Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Framboise Moi
MAC Framboise Moi Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a deep, raspberry pink with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It wore down to a matte finish within two hours of wear (shorter if one blotted or drank something). The texture was denser, firm without being too difficult to apply smoothly across my lips. It had opaque pigmentation that adhered evenly and didn’t emphasize my lip texture. It wore well for six hours, left a reddish stain behind, and was non-drying.

Formula Overview

MAC Lipstick comes in a variety of finishes, and the pigmentation and wear tend to be dependent on the finish. The sheer finishes, like Lustres, tend to wear for only a couple of hours and have sheer coverage (as designed) and are non-drying.
Some of the original Matte shades have a stiffer, drier formula, while newer ones have a more velvety, silicone-feel to them, and the latter are creamier, more comfortable to wear, and easier to apply, but most Matte shades are quite pigmented and long-wearing, though some are drying.
The Amplified and Satin finishes tend to have good pigmentation, lightly creamy to moderately creamy consistencies with a bit of shine, and moderate to long wear with deeper, richer shades wearing longer. The Frost and Metallic finishes have the most variance between shades with coverage ranging from semi-sheer to opaque with average wear and non-drying to slightly drying formulas. All MAC lipsticks are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.

Hey, Kiss Me!
MAC Hey, Kiss Me! Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a light, cotton cayd pink with cool, blue undertones and a natural sheen. It had good color coverage in one pass, though it needed a second layer for full coverage (if desired). The consistency was lightweight with slight slip but enough to feel overly wet or slippery on my lips. The color went on fairly evenly, but there was a bit of product that gathered in my deeper lip lines, and it had subtle, but visible, streaking along the edges or if I pressed my lips together, I could see lines show up. It lasted well for three hours and was neither drying nor hydrating on me.

Hi-Fructease
MAC Hi-Fructease Lipstick ($18.50 for 0.1 oz.) is a brighter, medium pink-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. The pigmentation was very nearly opaque in a single layer, while the texture was lightly creamy, thicker but not heavy to wear, and comfortable to apply and to wear. The color went on evenly with just a smidgen of product that gathered in my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. This shade stayed on well for four and a half hours and was non-drying.

Framboise Moi is my one pick for me, with Hi-Fructease following closely behind! The later of which I would have to try on to see if it looks alright on me. But the former is one that I have no doubts about!
Hey, Kiss Me goes with whoever can pull off that pink “highlighter”, I suppose. Not me, I know.
The packaging for these lipsticks is beautiful. None of the colors are particularly speaking to me yet though. I have a lot of pinks as it is. Thank you for the swatches, Christine!
Framboise Moi is gorgeous and I love the packaging, but I have at least a couple of dupes, so itโs a pass for me.
Will likely never wear such color, but Framboise Moi is so stunning!
