MAC Carousel Lipglass
MAC Carousel Lipglass ($10.00 for 0.08 fl. oz.) is a bright, cotton candy pink with cool, blue undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that covered with very little streaking, but the color sunk into lip lines, which may be a deal-breaker for some. The texture was light-medium in weight, moderately tacky, but it didn’t feel too heavy. This shade lasted for five hours and was slightly hydrating for me. MAC Candy Yum Yum Lipglass ($10.00 for 0.08 fl. oz.) is a bright, medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a cream finish. This shade was so bright and glossy that while it settled a bit into lip lines, I could barely tell looking in a regular mirror as the shine camouflaged the settling. The texture was smoother and a little less thick compared to most Lipglasses. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that covered evenly. This shade wore well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. MAC Candy Yum Yum (P, $21.00)(100% similar). MAC Peach Blossom Pink (LE, $21.00) is darker, warmer (95% similar). FORMULA OVERVIEW | MAC Little MAC Lipglass ($10.00 for 0.08 fl. oz.) is a miniature-sized version of MAC’s regular Lipglass, so the formula is exactly the same and even includes shades previously released as limited edition. The Lipglass formula is supposed to be pigmented, shiny, and hydrating. I find that pigmentation can range from very sheer to totally opaque from shade to shade–there is a ton of variance–with a light-medium to medium-weight texture that’s thicker, moderately to very tacky, and lasts four to six hours. I don’t mind Lipglass myself, despite the tackiness, but if you loathe sticky glosses, Lipglass is probably not going to be your number one favorite! They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste. For comparison, full-sized MAC Lipglasses are $15.00 for 0.17 fl. oz. or $88.24/fl. oz. while the miniature-sized is $125.00/fl. oz. The smaller size makes the most sense for those who like more variety rather than more product or who do not typically finish a gloss.

Raring to Go is really pretty!
It is!
Never been a huge fan of MAC lipglasses but my favorite is Oyster Girl
Oyster Girl has pretty pearl!
Your eye makeup is AMAZING!! Love the look!! Xoxo from Brazil
Thanks, Mari!
Raring To Go is super pretty!
Agreed!
Raring To Go is exactly the type of “warm” fuchsia that I am able to wear, other than jumping the aisle completely and wearing purples, that do not give me a decidedly jaundiced look! I love this shade loads!
Woohoo! 😀
I love all three colors, but the first two definitely need a lipliner or lipstick underneath. I’m always down for bright pinks, though.
Lip liner would help a lot!
Very nice, raring is the best of course 🙂
Haha!
All pretty, but Raing to Go is special, I do love some shimmer. 🙂
Umm! Candy Yum Yum looks so much more wearable than the lipstick! I found the lipstick to be a little bit patchy and streaky!
