Giorgio Armani Avant-Premiere (02) Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Avant-Premiere (02)
Giorgio Armani Avant-Premiere (02) Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette ($60.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, permanent neutral set of shades that includes a peach, mid-tone bronze, light taupe, and deep, red-brown. The four shades complemented each other to create an easy, go-to neutral look–I could definitely see it being a workhorse of a product for some people. All four shades performed well and came together without having to work at it.

Avant-Premiere #1
Avant-Premiere #1 is a soft, light-medium peach with warm, orange undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a smooth, velvety texture–had some slip to it–that helped it adhere particularly well to bare skin as it didn’t sheer out too readily. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.

Avant-Premiere #2
Avant-Premiere #2 is a medium bronze with warm, reddish undertones and warmer, golden shimmer. It had rich color payoff that applied evenly to my skin and blended out easily along the edges. The consistency was lightly creamy, firmer but not stiff to work with, and picked up well with brushes. It stayed on nicely for eight hours on me before fading a bit.

Avant-Premiere #3
Avant-Premiere #3 is a soft, golden taupe with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had a soft, smooth consistency that had slight slip but wasn’t too dense or too thick, which made it apply well to bare skin and look almost “melted” after a few minutes. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer and lasted well for eight hours on me.

Avant-Premiere #4
Avant-Premiere #4 is a deep, reddish brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It seemed mostly matte, but it wasn’t as flat/powdery as most mattes and seemed to have a more natural finish to it. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to opaque coverage with two layers. The texture was soft, smooth, and felt a little emollient to the touch, which made me worry that it would apply unevenly but it ended up going on well and blending out nicely. It wore well for eight hours on me before I noticed any fading.

The quality and wearability are both clearly evident. However, I’m also guessing that most of us already have shades such as these or at least similar enough to recreate its natural, professional look. If not, then I too can see this being a nice little workhorse quad!
Hard to believe, but I don’t think I have dupes for #1 & #3. Considering purchasing for a convenient daytime look.
If you’re warm toned and pressed for space this seems like the perfect travel choice!
This is a gorgeous little quad – lovely, subtle neutral shades and this is perfect for travel. I guess the issue would be if you have lots of dupes for these shades, as they are fairly popular. Beautiful eye look Christine.
This is a nice basic neutral quad, but it could be so easily duped for much less money. Armani fans should be pretty happy with this, though.
This is the kind of products I expect from a lurury brand : easy to use, good product, good packaging. I hope they will continue in the same vein
I have all I need in the warm neutral eyeshadows category, but had I not, I’d likely pick this up as I’m appreciating smaller, tailored palettes. This would be ideal for travel.
Nice that this scored a good rating but as others said, easily duped and for far less money.
