Chanel Contour Brun (34) Stylo Ombre et Contour Eyeshadow Liner Khol ($34.00 for 0.02 oz.) is a deep chocolate brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was slightly drier than other pencils in the range, though it didn't drag or tug on my skin when I worked with it.
I just felt like the edges and product needed to be softened with a fingertip or a fluffy brush or else they looked a bit ragged (more apparent in the single-pass swatch). There was enough slip so it applied fluidly and went on evenly. It had opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which stayed on well for nine hours before showing signs of fading.
