Dior Ultra Daring, Ultra Pulse, Ultra Crave Ultra Rouge Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Ultra Daring (755)
Dior Ultra Daring (755) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium-dark fuchsia with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was good, though shy of truly full-coverage color, and adhered evenly across my lips without sinking into my lip lines. The texture was lightweight, slightly thinner and less emollient compared to other shades (definitely less glossiness in the final look), though it was still comfortable to apply and to wear. It stayed on well for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$37.00/0.11 oz. - $336.36 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "incredibly long-wearing" with "12 hour" wear paired with an "ultra-comfortable" feel and "high-pigmentation." First and foremost, no, it doesn't last 12 hours, and most shades don't come close--they last between four and six hours typically. There were a few, like deeper reds, that still had some product remaining after eight hours, but the lighter shades never made it through the meal. They have a very creamy consistency, balm-like, and within 30 to 45 seconds, they develop a slight cling, almost like a film, but it wasn't actually clingy or uncomfortable--I could just tell that there was a texture change as it "set." However, the "setting" of this formula just has that feeling, but the product would still transfer onto a glass or disappear during a meal.
Most of the shades were semi-opaque to opaque and applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging or dragging. Some shades were more smoothing than others, but most shades looked flattering over my natural lip texture. The formula was lightweight, comfortable, and lightly to moderately hydrating over time. They had a heavy, powdery, floral scent that was noticeable for the first half hour of wear, though I didn't notice any taste.

Ultra Pulse (870)
Dior Ultra Pulse (870) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a muted, deep berry with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly in a fluid stroke. The lipstick had a lightweight, lightly creamy, balm-like texture that skated across my lips with ease and laid down even color that didn’t settle into my lip lines. I felt the texture shift slightly within a minute of application and felt it cling just a touch (compared to the initial application). It wore well for five and a half hours and was lightly moisturizing over time.

Ultra Crave (843)
Dior Ultra Crave (843) Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark red-plum with warm undertones and a cream finish. The pigmentation was fantastic with rich, opaque color that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips. It had a lightweight, lightly creamy consistency that was comfortable to apply and to wear as it never dragged and did not feel overly emollient that it became slippery during wear. This shade lasted beautifully on me for five and a half hours, which is surely solid wear, but a far cry from the 12-hours it was marketed as. The formula felt hydrating while I wore it.

Ultra Crave looks lovely on you, Christine. I have been loving muted reds like this one, recently.
Love all 3. But wouldn’t you know it? I’ve got a dupe for each one, and 2 for Ultra Crave!
I might have too many lipsticks, huh? ?
I do like Ultra Crave…..
Pulse is my favourite out of the ones you’ve reviewed. At a B. even though it also got a +, I’ll not get it. If it had performed really flawlessly and have an A+. I might have as I do love the colour. I hope I have dupes. going to check the list thoroughly.
