ColourPop x Safiya Nygaard Berry Me in Lipsticks & Fred Lux Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Berry Me in Lipsticks
ColourPop Berry Me in Lipsticks Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, rosy plum with subtle, warm undertones and a lightly shiny, cream finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without tugging.
The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too slippery, and comfortable to wear. The only issue I had was that the product separated a bit along my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t visible to my eye in person at a regular distance (more so in the close-up photo). It wore well for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.
The collection will be restocked December 6th.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.12 oz. - $83.33 Per Ounce
The formula that is supposed to be a "creamy-matte" that "glides on like butter, doesn't feather or bleed, and lasts so long you'll forget you're even wearing it." The majority of the shades were quite pigmented with full color payoff in a single stroke with a few in the more semi-opaque coverage range.
The texture was, on average, smooth, lightly creamy, and not too thick or too thin, so there was no tugging during application but the color didn't feel slippery while worn, which made them easier to apply straight from the tube and low-maintenance on the lips.
They tend to dry and wear down to a soft matte finish within one to three hours of wear, and while they are very lightweight on, they hug the lips more as they become more matte (compared to initial feel). The wear time has been between four and six hours for most shades, and most shades were non-drying to lightly hydrating. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste.

Berry Me in Lipsticks
LELimited Edition. $10.00.
Fred
ColourPop Fred Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deeper, medium-dark red with moderate, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which delivered smooth, even coverage.
The consistency felt lightweight, thin without being clingy, and had a more velvety-feel that helped it apply without tugging. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn’t noticeable in person, just in the close-up photos. The color stayed on nicely for over six hours and left a stain behind, while the formula felt non-drying over time.
The collection will be restocked December 6th.

Is that a hair or a thread in the lipstick?!
Long “threads” are usually plastic fibers from the component from my experience.
The bats on the case and bullet are adorable.
Right? They’re so cute! Not quite enough to tempt me to break my no-buy, but I am really taken with the design here.
Having worn my Berry Me In Lipsticks last Saturday, I’ve fallen in love with it! Beautiful shade, excellent weartime and BATS! ?
Yes, I know how weird I am, LOL.
I’m trying to talk myself down off the ledge with Fred…I have 3 dupes. But, again, ?
Berry Me in Lipsticks is in my mailbox as we speak! So excited to try it and yay, bats! Glad it reviews well! :o)
Thank heavens I have dupes for both of these so no temptation here.
Hi Christine! I was wondering what happened to your lip freckle – I’ve been reading for a long time and was wondering why it disappeared 🙂
Hi Anna,
It isn’t gone, actually, but it has faded slightly over time! Beyond that, I have no information to provide you since it’s not something I’ve been treated for, seen, for, etc. – like I haven’t done anything to it! 🙁 Not all freckles are permanent – freckles are known for fading (even disappearing) with age actually. Coupled with the fact that I’m inside almost all the time and have very little sun exposure, it doesn’t darken (freckles usually darken in the summer due to more sun exposure). Here’s an example of how little sun I get: I used to wear MAC NC35/NC40 in the summer. NC20 is too dark for me now. ?
I’m not sure why you think it’s disappeared, though – it is still there and visible when products have lower coverage… these are pretty full coverage!

(all from this year)
I got Mrs. Norris and Screamer in the mail today – noticing that stain you had with Fred with Screamer, but not Mrs. Norris. Very excited for both though!
Fred is a beautiful shade of cool red. Love it.
I sooo don’t need another red, but I love how balanced Fred looks, not too warm, not so cool that it starts to pull pink. May pick it up with the restock, and will have to restrain myself from getting Berry Me in Lipsticks at the same time!
