ColourPop Beeper Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick ($6.00 for 0.11 fl. oz.) is described as a “warm mid-tone taupe.” It’s a muted, medium-dark rosy brown with subtle, warm undertones and a flat, matte finish. I could see this leaning more neutral on those with naturally pink or cool-toned complexions. It had good pigmentation that applied with smooth, even color without “cracking” or emphasizing lip lines. The color lasted for seven hours on me and was lightly drying after four hours of wear. It is funny that ColourPop said “Never look like a full-on Monet” with this shade, because it actually looks quite horrific up-close as the color cracks and is very prone to flaking while worn. It had the color payoff, but it lacked the smoothness and more even fading/wear of the majority of the line. Formula Summary: ColourPop Ultra Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick ($6.00 for 0.11 fl. oz.) is a long-wearing, pigmented lipstick that starts off glossy and dries down quickly to that super flat matte finish. They have minimal transfer with some of the lighter shades having almost none for the first few hours of wear, but any time you’ve had a meal, they lose that transfer-resistant quality to a noticeable degree. They tend to wear anywhere from six to ten hours with darker shades maintaining better color coverage and wear over a longer period of time. Some shades get a little drying about two-thirds to three-fourths through the wear, while a few shades have been fairly non-drying even many hours into wear. They fade away evenly with most color loss occurring from the center of the lips if eating a more oil-based meal but the majority of color survives a meal. Reapplication has been hit or miss and tends to depend on how well it wore away and how easily the shade applies normally, but reapplication tends to emphasize the lip’s natural texture significantly compared to initial application and gives lips a very wrinkled, dried-up look. I’ve layered gloss on top of some shades with moderate success, though it will obviously lose the matte finish and will transfer and I’ll get tiny flakes where the matte lip color has lifted by mixing with gloss but has been pretty minimal. The formula had no discernible taste or scent.

Haha! I love the Monet comment about Clueless! Well, I took a chance ordering just about all these LE ones by CP knowing it would be a gamble. At least 1/2 is better than a goose egg on these. I ordered them on the 12th and my order is sill processing! lol.

Oh wow! I would think they would give your orders priority! My stuff takes a week usually once it does finally ship since to comes to Ohio..so I’m looking at a good two to two and a half weeks since they have became a more popular company. Can’t wait to see the Strobing reviews. I had an overlap in Avalon so I skipped it for now -knowing well it may sell out(the medium would be my suitable kit I would think). Plus, the lippies have been letting me down a lot. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
The same goes for me, Nicole.. I made my order on 11th and on 13th ColourPop emailed me that my order has been scheduled for shipment, but up to this day the status is still in “Shipping Label Created”. I then emailed them yesterday and they said that my package was missing so they have to repeat the process and send a replacement. So I’m looking for another 2 weeks to receive it. Gosh…

Beeper looks fantastic on you! Although both shades do, I can see what you mean about Clueless looking dry. I may need to try Beeper, or a regular formula dupe of it. I honestly HATE living in this dry, Arid Zone as it makes matte lippys even dryer than expected!

I love both of these colors, but Clueless sounds truly horrible formula-wise. I wonder what went wrong. I made an order last night: I’m glad Clueless wasn’t in it. Beeper will be on my “to get” list.

It’s strange how I didn’t notice any sheerness with CLUELESS but it’s a shade darker them my natural lip tone which is probably why. I’m still waiting for Bow ‘n’ Arrow to restock at Sephora.ca but I’m soo glad that Beeper (the Muppets anyone!?!) is a dupe for it.

Oh no, I just got my Colourpop order today. I got Clueless and Bumble. Aww, that’s a bummer that Clueless didn’t work out. I like Beeper on you! I didn’t order that one because I was scared it might be too brown… I should go to Sephora and try on the KVD Bone n’ Arrow first! I can’t believe how similar they are though!

Is it just me or does Beeper not look like the swatch at all? I thought it looked just gorgeous on you and we have a similar skin tone so I ordered it and received it a couple days ago and it does not look like that on me at all. Its still nice and I’ll still wear it, I’m just a little disappointed because your swatches are usually very accurate.
