I love a good sky blue/pastel blue eyeshadow, especially for spring, but it also can work really with more summery colors as a way to tone down some of the vibrancy of those brighter hues.
Finding a perfectly teal eyeshadow is difficult, because teal is a mix of blue and green and inevitably leans one way or the other.  Who knew that Make Up For Ever would have so many fun ones?

Cool-toned pinks tend to be blue-based, and when they're on the lighter end of the spectrum, you'll find they're described as cotton candy or bubblegum pink, while when they're on the darker end of the spectrum, they are often fuchsia or magenta.
Cool-toned browns tend to lean just a little gray, but not gray enough to become taupe.
