Bobbi Brown Parisian Red Luxe Lip Color ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “true yellow red.” It’s a bright, medium red with warm, yellow undertones and a glossy finish. It had very nearly opaque pigmentation with a very creamy, more emollient consistency (compared to the rest of the formula) that applied well without streaking. I didn’t have any issues with feathering/bleeding, but it has enough slip that it could be a concern for those who experience those issues more often. It wore well for six hours and was moisturizing while worn. Tom Ford Beauty Warren (P, $36.00) is lighter, less glossy (95% similar). Urban Decay F-Bomb (DC, $18.00) is lighter, cooler (95% similar). MAC Cockney (DC, $19.00) is lighter, less pigmented (90% similar). Too Faced 90210hhh (DC, $22.00) is lighter, cooler (95% similar). Urban Decay Mrs. Mia Wallace (DC, $18.00) is darker (90% similar). FORMULA SUMMARY | Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is supposed to have one-stroke color coverage with a hydrating, smoothing formula, and “nourishing shine.” I was impressed with the formula as a whole, as the majority of the shades were very pigmented in one pass with a creamy consistency that glided on easily. There’s a richness to the texture that does feel more “luxe” in a way. The natural-to-luminous shine level gives lips a smoother, plumper look, while the formula itself is hydrating and many shades are longer-wearing. I noticed that the lighter shades tended to perform more poorly relative to more light-medium to medium-dark-hued shades. There was a faint floral scent (that was a surprise, I wish they had gone the unscented!), but I didn’t have issues with taste and found it very subtle on (it’s no Dior/Chanel-level scent!). In general, I like Bobbi Brown’s lipstick formulas, and this one feels creamier and more hydrating than others, but for pigmentation, you can’t go wrong with this or the Rich Lip Color formula.

These are so rich I could skip lunch!
Haha!
Red really suits you!
Thanks, Claire!
I was waiting for your review to choose a red from this line! Figured they all did well. Lol! Hmm..not going to,be an easy choice. I certainly will have to try them on! I’m leaning on Red Velvet.
Red Velvet may be the more unique red of the three!
Retro Red is my kind of red! 🙂
Yay!
Wow, these reds aren quite stunning! And they add such a nice shine and plumpness to the lips. At $35, I was initially skeptical this could compete with NARS Audacious, but this line looks like a contender
I think it is a nice alternative to Audacious, too – they are a bit glossier and more emollient!
I just love how you look in a red lip. It’s my favorite on you! I need to order a couple of these soon. They’re soo creamy!
Aw, thank you, Fancie!
As a bona fide red lover, I am just giddy for these! Especially loving Retro Red and Brown Red Velvet! But even the yellow-red, Parisian Red, is quite a beauty, too.
I think that even though I love how a matte red lip looks, I am beginning to appreciate a more emolliant, richly pigmented creamy formula while living in such a dry climate. So these are a WIN in my book!
They’re really lovely! I do love how these feel on the lips, even if perhaps a matte would last longer by a few hours!
Wow a trio of home runs!!!! Which is your favorite Christine?
Probably Red Velvet!
The all looked warmer in the tube to me. I really like Retro Red for myself but all of them are pretty!
I don’t think Retro Red is super cool-toned!
Now these reds were well worth waiting for to see on!!! They’re all stunning on you Christine. I don’t know which one to pick as I want them all. More to add to the after holiday pick up list.
Thank you so much, Ciara! Can’t wait to see which one makes the list.
All of these are just perfect red colours – and it’s not often I say that. They look stunning and the rating is excellent. These colours look perfect on you Christine – really beautiful. LOVE them.
Thanks a lot, Genevieve! They are great reds.
They’re all gorgeous! I’d go for the Retro Red, though.
Good pick, El! 😀
Oh, all ther are just gorgeous, arent they! I love them all!
I have to stay a long way away from any BB counter or I will have a crying wallet 🙂
All three of course. So sorry for sloppy typing!
lol! Stay away!
Oh, man! These are so gorgeous and rich. I can’t even pick a favorite.
It is hard to pick just one!
