The majority of these were of really good quality from CP, although they aren’t the kind of quads that I would buy (the mattes and shade selection). However, I think they could be useful for a quick couple of eye looks.
Even though I’m not keen on astrology and other occult themes, I just had to have Like A Virgo for the two shimmers. Especially that white-gold! The irony that my ex-husband is a “Virgo” isn’t lost on me, either. This palette is sugar and spice and everything nice. He sure wasn’t! But one of my old BFF’s from highschool and young adulthood truly was.
I love Astrology, but my sun and moon sign (Virgo/Gemini) didn’t interest me at all here. I got the quad that spoke the most to me and my ascending sign (Scorpio).
Capricorn gets an A+++ in my book! I wore it out this weekend and got so many compliments. I used only the four shades in the quad for my eye look which is something I rarely do, but I didn’t feel the need to bring in another shade. The darker of the metallic shades was absolutely incredible and I honestly think it is better than my beloved super shock singles.
Scorpio I’ve only swatched, so not sure how it will perform yet. Even though the colors are more fun, I’m not as impressed. I think the burgundy sparkly metallic shade swatched pretty iffy for me. Hopefully it will be better on the eyes! I just wish the metallic was as lovely as Capricorn (it definitely feels different to the touch).
