ColourPop Like a Virgo Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Like a Virgo
ColourPop Like a Virgo Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) includes two shimmers (rosy plum with duochrome shift, white gold) and two mattes (rosy mauve, deeper brown). All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and longer-wearing, though you’ll likely want to do eyes before base as they ran a little powdery.

To the Tee
To the Tee is a light-medium, rosy plum base with warmer undertones paired with blue-to-green shifting shimmer. It had opaque color payoff that applied well to my lid and diffused nicely along the edge. The eyeshadow had a smooth, lightly emollient consistency to the touch but seemed a little drier once I worked with it in practice. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be āhighly pigmentedā with an āultra-velvety and silkyā texture that is ālong-wearingā and āadheres easily to the eyes.ā Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Perfection
Perfection is a bright, white gold with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had rich pigmentation with a soft, lightly dusty consistency that had light fallout during application if I wasn’t careful to press/pat it into place. It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Details Details
Details Details is a medium, rosy mauve with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was slightly firmer compared to most of the brand’s matte eyeshadows, but it was by no means stiff to work with, so ultimately it was a little less powdery and could stand to be used with a more moderate pressure. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Not a Virgo, but I am ordering this. That white-gold duochrome is exactly what I have been trying to find for 20 years!
As a Virgo, I think that name is cute. Like a Virgo, hey!
But it will be a hard pass on this quad.
As a Virgo whose ultimate favorite SSS is Tang, they really got me to a T with this quad. It’s a bit boring, especially compared to some of the other color stories, but at least it performs well. Little sad that the duochrome is so subtle, though. I may not purchase this IMMEDIATELY but it’s on the list now.
Tang and Bill. I think Tang is d/cād and Bill is still around. Easiest peasiest.
Lovely colour story – perhaps with a different matte shade than the darker brown.
