ColourPop Sagittarius in Flight Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Sagittarius in Flight
ColourPop Sagittarius in Flight Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) includes two shimmer shades (deep copper, bright orange) and two matte shades (peachy-brown, deep copper). All four shades had full color coverage with little product, while the textures was soft enough to have light to moderate powderiness, so this will work best for someone who tends to apply their eyeshadow before their base products.

Formula Overview

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Goals
Goals is a bright, light orange with strong, orange-gold shimmer throughout that gave it an intense, metallic finish. The eyeshadow had rich pigmentation that adhered well to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. The texture was smooth to the touch, moderately dense, and a little dusty in the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Such a pretty quad for autumn! I can dupe the 2 shimmery shades, but oddly enough, I don’t think I can dupe the 2 mattes with what I have.
As my preferred star sign, I do happen to like the two shimmery shades, although the Goals shade is perhaps a bit too orangey leaning for me.
