Blushes (Under $15)
As 2017 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect back on the products I’ve reviewed during the past year and share with you my personal favorites. When I went to pull my favorite blushes reviewed in the last year that were under $15 in price, I noticed that there weren’t that many options, and there weren’t quite as many options as I expected above the $15 price point either… but there were a lot more highlighters. I’d love to hear about your favorite affordable blush formulas and shades — share yours in the comments! 🙂
I hope Milani will consider adding more shades to their Baked Blush range in 2018! I’m sure we’ll see at least a dozen new shades of ColourPop’s Super Shock Cheek formula next year, and I hope they’ll tweak their powder blush formula so that maybe there will be a lot more shades that could be considered for next year’s best of blush list.
Check out the full list of products that made my list this year below…

Drop of a Hat and Satin Love from your faves. CP is usually a reliably affordable option, esp if you have the hole in stash or Pokémon syndrome.
It’s great to see the DS brands blushes rival the HE ones for ratings. Love the Essence Satin Coral and Milani’s baked blush.
Thank you so much for this review Christine.
Hm. I really love my Covergirl Cheekers blush in Rose Silk. Very similar to Nars Orgasm!
Having CP’s Drop Of A Hat, plus Essence Satin Love and Satin Coral, I’d say I did well with under $15 blushes this year! Especially Satin Love, which I have on today! My 2 cheapest blushes were actually both freebies, Nars Goulue and Tarte “Paaarty!” I love them both!
Nothing new but Sleek blushes are my favorite affordable option. Blend easily, not powdery, and the packaging is really slim. I love Rose Gold, Flushed, Life’s a Peach, and Suede.
Hard to believe, but I don’t own a single ColourPop blush. Not sure how that happened.
These are all lovely. Wet n Wild Rose Champagne is a huge favorite of mine.
I don’t think I bought any new drug store blushes this year. Nothing that stand out, for sure.
I have spotted a few things at Ulta in this price range I was curious about: elf blush and highlighter quads, sleek and essence trios, and makeup revolution blush palettes (that seem to have some good reviews). Oh and Ofra blush pans for $12 which if they are anything like their highlighters…???. I’m often weary of blush reviews because even though a blush may be pigmented and swatch well, if it blends horribly it’s a pass. Nothing like trying to fix clown cheeks from powder that has darkened once you applied it over foundation and it doesn’t want to blend out when you’re in a rush!
Plum Rose is certainly one I should add to my collection, it’s a perfect everyday shade for me. It’s got a neutral enough base to be flattering even over rosacea!
Both blushes by Essence are beautiful.
I need to get my hands on those Essence blushes the Princess mascaras I really liked! Also WetnWild blushes I can’t find a thingcwring with them and git in a few shades all wear beautifully, Milani baked and the Cover Girls three new ones are all great. Haven’t tried Colourpop blush but went crazy for their super shock shadows.
thingewring? Must be a new word unknown to me…a thing wrong with them, got. Oh do i hate these typos even after checking before sending and it shoots God knows what. Arghhh! Lol! Sorry!
