ColourPop ILYSM Super Shock Cheek Duo Review & Swatches
ILYSM
ColourPop ILYSM Super Shock Cheek Duo ( for 0.3 oz.) is a new, limited edition cream blush duo that–apparently!–sold out quite quickly online but is available in-store (my local stores showed it in stock), so if it catches your fancy, you’ll likely want to check with your local Ulta. Both shades have been released before, though only Prenup is available presently as an individual shade. Forget Me Not was easy to work with and long-wearing, whereas Prenup wasn’t as foolproof to apply (but still lasted well).
ILYSM
LELimited Edition.
Forget Me Not
Forget Me Not is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and icier, silvery-white pearl throughout that gave it a luminous sheen on my skin. The texture was smooth, emollient, and easy to work with whether I used a brush or my fingertips to apply to my skin.
It had buildable coverage when applied with a brush and more semi-opaque to opaque coverage applied with fingertips, and it worked well over bare skin as well as over foundation. It stayed on well for 10 hours before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.15 oz. - $53.33 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush. It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day. On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Prenup
Prenup is a medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. There was very fine pearl throughout that gave it a satiny sheen applied to my skin, but it wasn’t overly shimmery or dewy in its finish at all. The texture felt more clay-like–movable and would indent with firmer pressure–so it wasn’t as wet to the touch as the shimmery shades in the same formula.
It had buildable coverage from semi-sheer to semi-opaque when applied with a brush and semi-opaque to opaque coverage when applied with fingertips. The color applied fairly easily to my skin but worked best over bare skin as I found the slightly drier texture to be more prone to lifting up base products. It lasted nicely for 10 hours before fading visibly.

What a lovely duo – and both shades work well together. Forget Me Not is perfect.
These are lovely, though SG PS suits me better. (Admittedly I would have really loved a Paris Twilight with silver shimmer.). I really wish CP had wider instore availability.
After the review on MUJFF, I sought it out because it looked so pretty on her! It was the only thing I bought from the collection! I’ve been wearing it the last week…it makes me happy and looks so lovely with all the pinky/purple palettes out right now!
Yes to Prenup!
